New Years Eve was spent at the Lady of Magic Redondo Beach Castle. We had a ball, well I know I did. It looked like everyone else was having fun as well. It was a great evening with dinner, music, magic, comedy and dancing. Everyone was friendly and it seemed more like a family get together but packed with great entertainment. Okay sometimes watching family can be great entertainment, but these people knew how to put on a show. Lloyd had asked me what I wanted to do for New Years Eve, so I began a search. I searched through well over 100 events in the Los Angeles area. All the events were in large clubs or along the beach. In my head I could just see myself standing around in pain or spending the night trying to find a place to sit to get off my feet. So when I found this event, it seemed like there would be some seats, which is a plus. But who can pass up food, music, magic, comedy and dancing? So glad we went, it was a wonderful evening. The atmosphere was wonderful, the music was awesome and everyone was friendly. I am so glad it is just a few miles away and look forward to any future events they have.
Today starts my first day of my new Project 365 with an RA Twist. So I have gone through the few photos I took at the event and picked two that I took with my point and shoot. Both photos are panoramic views of the event. One I have edited to look more like a sketch. Both images are large so I have created thumbnails below, please click to see the full photo.

Last night I went to the local Torrance Area Chamber of Commerce Holiday Mixer. It was an enjoyable night of networking and food. I was pleasantly surprised when my name was called for one of the door prizes. Thank you Debbie Richardson from Premier Business for the festive plant. Sunday evening we decided to head out to take photos of Christmas lights. My boyfriend has taken me to Candy Cane Lane / Sleepy Hollow area of Torrance, California before for photos so I knew we would get some good ones. Here is one of my favorites below.
