New Years Eve was spent at the Lady of Magic Redondo Beach Castle. We had a ball, well I know I did. It looked like everyone else was having fun as well. It was a great evening with dinner, music, magic, comedy and dancing. Everyone was friendly and it seemed more like a family get together but packed with great entertainment. Okay sometimes watching family can be great entertainment, but these people knew how to put on a show. Lloyd had asked me what I wanted to do for New Years Eve, so I began a search. I searched through well over 100 events in the Los Angeles area. All the events were in large clubs or along the beach. In my head I could just see myself standing around in pain or spending the night trying to find a place to sit to get off my feet. So when I found this event, it seemed like there would be some seats, which is a plus. But who can pass up food, music, magic, comedy and dancing? So glad we went, it was a wonderful evening. The atmosphere was wonderful, the music was awesome and everyone was friendly. I am so glad it is just a few miles away and look forward to any future events they have.
Today starts my first day of my new Project 365 with an RA Twist. So I have gone through the few photos I took at the event and picked two that I took with my point and shoot. Both photos are panoramic views of the event. One I have edited to look more like a sketch. Both images are large so I have created thumbnails below, please click to see the full photo.
