Exploring Life

Yesterday after getting my CNN iReport correctly up, we went to see if we could get a few whale photos.  You can see one of my whale photos below, nobody else has shots like these. On the way we stopped to meet another photographer at Starbucks, a not so healthy addiction but oh so yummy. When I looked into Lloyd’s eyes I felt like taking a shot, so I picked the camera up out of the trunk and took a picture. You can see the Starbucks behind me and the bright sun over the ocean behind me.

I used both Picasa 3 from Google and Adobe Photoshop to create the above image.

I know Lloyd did get at least one good shot of a whale going down the coast. But well, here is my first try this year at capturing a whale:

It is like fishing and pulling in the big one, just to find out it is seaweed.

I have several amazing shots of this seaweed. Maybe I will get the whales the next time we go.
