Another Great Juice Combo

We are still juicing daily, so I thought I would show off another easy photo recipe. All of our juicing is done this way, just pull a good combination of fruits and vegetables out of the refrigerator. This juice had sweet yellow pepper, asian pear, green apple, strawberries, roma tomato, kiwi, cilantro, parsley, kale, cabbage, bok choy, carrot, grapes, blueberry, brocolli, blackberries, celery, ginger, brussell sprout and an orange. It was another yummy juice for lunch.

A great combination of fruits and vegetables for juicing.

I used my Motorola Xoom to take the photo and Google Picasa to edit the photo. With Picasa I used hdr-ish, boost, shadow and text editing options.

Crash and Burn with RAD

This past week I have felt the fatigue of Rheumatoid Autoimmune Disease (RAD) more than I would like. I am not sure how many hours I have crashed on the couch during the day, even right after I woke up in the morning. I have missed a couple walks with the dogs not from the mild pain or stiffness but just from the fatigue. Sometimes when the fatigue or “brain fog” hits I cannot think to write, but may be able to be a little creative. Today I felt creative so I made this graphic image to express the feeling of fatigue.

I enjoy creating some images that can help promote Rheum4us.org, which is  the only charity just for RAD. Please feel free to use these images anytime or anywhere you would like to help promote our Rheumatoid Patient Foundation. Also I write about how Rheumatoid Arthritis (aka RAD) affects me and [sometimes in detail] so others can learn more about RAD, not for sympathy or attention. I can describe how I feel better at the time in a post in my blogs better then I can by the time I see the doctor again. When I see him I forget or I could have “brain fog” and forget the note with a list of things to tell him by the time for my appointment. Even the specialists do not fully understand Rheumatoid Autoimmune Disease, so if they happen to see my blog or another patient’s blog, this gives them better understanding as well.

RAD symptoms include fatigue

Crash and burn with the fatigue of RAD.

I created this image with Adobe Photoshop to help support Rheum4us.org. If you have family or friends with Rheumatoid Arthritis, please share this with them.

Point Vicente Interpretive Center

Yesterday we went for a bike ride, which was so very nice and needed break. We ended up at Point Vicente Interpretive Center in Rancho Palos Verdes, California. There were plenty of whale watchers there and we even seen a whale! I did not have my Canon Rebel but I did have my Sony Cybershot with me which does nice panoramic photos, so here is one of Lloyd when we were enjoying the view.
