Last Thursday we went to the Experium Science Academy grand opening here in Torrance, California. Below are a few photos I took while we were at the event. You can check out Got Baddog for more photos.

Today I had an appointment with the dentist to fix a crown and for a cleaning. The crown started feeling loose around a week ago. I made an appointment hoping to get it fixed right away; well that did not happen. When he found out that the drugs I was on lowered my immune system he wanted to make sure what my Rheumatologist recommended, so he gave me a list of the drugs he was planning on using and I faxed it to my doctor’s office. I knew my doctor had a quick turn around when a patient needs anything, usually within 24 hours. The receptionist at the dentist office assured me that she would call when they received the recommendations.
A couple days later I pulled the paperwork out to give them a call to see if they got it. I noticed the form did not have a return fax number, just the address and phone number. I figured my Rheumatologist office would just mail it in to them so I decided to give it a few more days. Well while at dentist today I could see that my RA doctors office’s had taken the time to call for the dentist fax number. Now if the dentist office would of just called me as soon as they had it like they said they would, I might of made it in faster. My lesson, I should of called the dentist office the day I picked the paper up. Instead I called yesterday and they got me in today.
Yesterday we went to Lucille’s BBQ Smokehouse for dinner. We had tried their flame-roasted artichoke before and since it is seasonal I had to have it again, it is so good! The garlic mayonnaise was really good as well, I don’t know that we even tried it the last time.
I took this photo with my Android Motorola Xoom and edited the photo with Picasa using the HDR-ish and Boost. I also used it to add my domain geekgoodgirl.com in the corner of the photo.
